First comes love…
June 29, 2009 | Filed Under sneak peeks

So, umm…I have some news:
These two cutie patooties are getting married.
Yup. You read that right: Capital-M Married. There are absolutely no babies in these images (I think. ;-)
Now, I know what you are saying: “but, wait, Lilia, you don’t do weddings.” (that’s what I said ;-)….but this sweet lady has a way about her, and was determined to have me, and now I am shooting her wedding…and I am SOOOO glad. :-)
We headed over to Half Moon Bay to do a loveshoot on the beach where J. proposed to sweet Miss L., and on the way, I talked them into stopping at the greenhouses:

and visiting some Flipping Amazing DINOSAURS (I have ALWAYS wanted to shoot at the dinosaurs, and I finally got my wish!! :-):

and also headed up to trespass in a funky old barn, with swallows and everything!

and no engagement session is complete without a game of fooseball (right? that’s in the rule-book someplace, I know it!):

and then to the aforementioned beach, just in time for dreamy glowy sunset light:

…and then we topped off the awesomeness with some Simply Stupendous thai food. Oh, the yumminess…but you will have to trust me…because I was too busy eating and laughing and eating and making yummy noises to take any pictures. Sorry. :-)
Thank you guys SO MUCH for an amazing day, for your bringing your sweet, silly, amazing spirits with phenomenal energy and love. You are gorgeous and I can’t wait for your wedding!!!
xoxo,
Lilia
p.s. This might just be my favorite picture. I almost peed my pants laughing, but managed to click the shutter too (what can I say…I’m a multi-tasker ;-):

So did you do that on purpose? The second beach shot with the gorgeous light and close-up kiss that looks like a heart? Another favorite!
OMG! Lilia, I absolutely love these pictures. Who says you don’t do engagements/weddings?! I’m so glad I encouraged “Miss L” to plead with you to do it, haha. Can’t wait to see you at the wedding. Oh ya, we have our own session next month, too…ahh, more magical photos to line my walls.
Very nice photo’s that capture the “Love between” Jason and Loretta…
Great… Perfect…. Jimmy
