Have you ever just met someone, and known instantly that you were going to have a completely amazing time together?

That would be this family. Seriously. The minute I walked into their home for our session, I knew that I was going to have an awesome day, and I was right.  I am so so VERY in love with the images we created together, I had to split their sneak peek in two just to have a chance of narrowing down!

So, without further ado, I give you a glimpse of Part 1: The Morning.

This lovely lady insisted that the pink curtains in her room would be *closed* for the duration, so we got an amazing pink glowy glow – and she was so good, she held super still so that I could slow my shutter down!:

I love photographing families at home for our first session, because everyone is sooooo much more comfortable and natural…kids just relax and settle into being their silly selves:

…this shot is so sweet, it just makes my heart go pop:

….I seriously love this young lady’s spirit – it just shines (also please note the pink fuzzy butterfly wings. ROCK ON!) :

….and then, of course, there were tickles…

I totally and COMPLETELY plotzed over the light in the master bedroom (and mama thought we wouldn’t want to shoot in there?!?! crazy juice!!):

…this shot is super noisy, because my ISO was through the roof, but I’m sharing it anyway, because I LOVE IT!

…then there were snuggles and stories….

and this is the last morning shot to share – I absolutely love this.

The light, the art on the wall, the sleepy, thoughtful eyes, the papa love. Just, wow.
