Once upon a time, I worked in web content development and information architecture, but everywhere I went, I saw amazing images waiting to be captured. Four years ago, my very best friend in the whole wide world had a baby, and I became an auntie to a litte muse who taught me that I have a gift for photographing children.

I love taking pictures of kids because I love hanging out with kids. We inhabit the same mental universe: one of exploration, of imagination, and general silliness. My work has become about witnessing the beauty in the everyday gestures of love between parent and child, and the joy and wonder in young eyes wide open to the world.

I am also an active volunteer at Full Circle Farm, a sustainable, nonprofit, educational farm located on 11 acres at Peterson Middle School in Sunnyvale.
